Your Questions About Dog Care

David asks…

Christians–When the rapture comes, who is going to take care of your pet?

You’ve committed your life to Jesus. You know you’re saved. But when the Rapture comes what’s to become of your loving pets who are left behind? Eternal Earth-Bound Pets takes that burden off your mind.

We are a group of dedicated animal lovers, and atheists. Each
Eternal Earth-Bound Pet representative is a confirmed atheist, and as such will still be here on Earth after you’ve received your reward. Our network of animal activists are committed to step in when you step up to Jesus.

We are currently active in 22 states. Our representatives have been screened to ensure that they are atheists, animal lovers, are moral / ethical with no criminal background, have the ability and desire to rescue your pet and the means to retrieve them and ensure their care for your pet’s natural life.

We currently cover the following states:
Maine,New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Carolina (new) and Georgia (new).

Our service is plain and simple; our fee structure is reasonable.
For $110.00 we will guarantee that should the Rapture occur within ten (10) years of receipt of payment, one pet per residence will be saved. Each additional pet at your residence will be saved for an additional $15.00 fee. A small price to pay for your peace of mind and the health and safety of your four legged and feathered friends.

Unfortunately at this time we are not equipped to accommodate all species and must limit our services to dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and small caged mammals.

Is anyone interested in this service?

Would some one please tell me where the word “rapture” is in the Bible? I ran a search on 3 different Bible sites and cannot find it anywhere. I posted the results of one such search below.

How to raise 1.5 million dollars ? HELP NEEDED TO SAVE ANIMAL SHELTER?

Alright so I am in 9th grade, and a local human society close to me is closing, The Minnesota Valley Humane Society in (of course) land of 10,000 lakes; Minnesota.
Its closing because of a budget cut and it just doesnt have enough money to keep going; with the recession going on more and more people are making the difficult decision …. feed the family or feed their pet dog, and the answer is almost always to feed the family so out goes the dog! The donations that used to be given to the humane society have almost completely gone away also because people just dont have the money. Operating continuously since 1981, MVHS has been a leader in caring for homeless animals and placing them with loving families. Over the course of its existence the shelter has had one of the highest adoption rates in the nation, placing over 50,000 animals over the course of the last 19 years, including 1,927 animal adoptions in 2009, and over 1,500 since January of this year. In addition to rescue and placement services, they also provided a variety of education and outreach services, including dog and owner training; a pet visitation program to area schools, nursing homes and care centers; and summer camps for elementary and middle school children.

Now that you know some info about the shelter, I would like to tell you what i need help on…
I NEED TO RAISE 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS to get the shelter back and running. 1.5 million dollars may seem like a lot, but when it comes to all those innocent animals who will be cast out to the streets with the loss of this amazing home… its worth it

—-> I am posting this today because honestly I need help, this needs to become more than just a school project, because I honestly feel the need to save this shelter…
If anybody would PLEASE donate to the shelter
here is the website;

http://www.mvhspets.org/

but the reason I am posting today is because I need some ideas on how to fundraise, or get donations to raise the 1.5 million..
what businesses should I contact?
How much is reasonable to ask for?
….

please:)

Dog Care Expert answers:

Ask for the full amount…then settle for less….much less.

Pet food companies or any company connected with animals would be the ones to contact.
If you can figure out how the company would benefit from helping the shelter then you have an in with them.

I work at a grouphome for disabled individuols in minneapolis, minnesota. one of the clients there owns a dog. The dog is need of a vet check, it is old and can barely walk or even lift its head to eat. The client is on social security and is obligated to turn over his entire paycheck to the company. he is given a monthly allowence of $80.00 and cannot offord to pay for vet care and the greedy ceo of the company refuses to help although they are the ones who approved him getting a dog in the first place, they said they thought it would be “thereputic’ anywayz does any one know anywhere in the state of minnesota (twin cities area) they offers services on a sliding scale fee? i tried to google but the only one i found in my state is the people center but that clinic has been closed for over 6years now. can anyone please help me find a recource for this poor dog?

Dog Care Expert answers:

Here is a link I found. Your best bet would be to contact a few local vets and ask them would they be willing to make payment arrangements or provide free services. Explain to them exactly as you have to us. Just look in the phone book and start dialing…there ARE still good people out there, it’s just a matter of finding them!
Good luck!
